Links to our Friends

If you have ever taken on the undertaking of creating a website, you know that it's no easy task. And if you ever decide to do so, you'll find out that you'll need help somewhere down the line. The following links go to sites that have linked to us or their utilities and code have helped us in some way. Please visit a few that interest you!

Home of the weird news of the world, complete with editorials. Sometimes Not-Safe-For-Work (NSFW) ads and links, so beware.

Cross-Browser.com - Mike Foster makes some of the coolest utilities that work in most major browsers. Some of his DHTML, HTML, and JavaScript libraries have been implemented on JournalCommunity already, and others are in the process of being implemented. At the very least if you want to see some neat things done inside a browser, his examples are a good way to kill some time and be impressed.

Enter the dark and sometimes scary universe of Purpleverse, a site wherein artists can submit their work for display. Vern, the owner was kind enough to link to JournalCommunity, so this is our long-overdue link back to him.

While we're not very happy with all of the ads and pop-ups, MySpace seems to be a great place to connect with long lost friends, and perhaps make some new ones. Now they have given people the ability to find classmates from long ago, which makes them one of our favorite sites to visit.

Rose has long been a friend and sounding board to a few of us here, and her stories and journal are fun to read as well! Though not appropriate for work, her site has recently been redesigned and she's quite the web-designer. Stop by when you have a private moment.
